Jumpy Boy!

**** Having trouble uploading video - check it out
on my Facebook page!!! ****

I finally got an up-to-date video of Evan in his
Jumperoo. This child absolutely LOVES this thing!
It is one of the funniest things I have ever seen! His
little feet go so fast, at times, that it looks like he is
tap dancing. I giggle over and over at him every single
time that he is in this contraption.

He has figured out that if he jumps hard enough, the
animals make noises. He also loves the sunshine ball
that he is able to play with. He has a smile on his face
the entire time he is jumping! He has also figured out
that if he jumps high once and then pulls his feet up, he
will bounce up and down! Hilarious to watch!!!

He is growing by leaps and bounds ... we had a pillow
under his feet just a few weeks ago and a pillow stuffed
behind his back, just so he could fit properly. Now, we
are going to have to adjust it to a taller height because
he is a growing boy!

Funny Videos

Besides bath time, one of my favorite things to do with Evie Bevie is to
watch him play in his jumperoo. It is super cute. I thought I
would share it with everyone. I know his Grandparents will love to see
this - since I talk about it all the time! This was last week - this week
he jumps up and down like a pro. Please excuse our dogs in the background!
It is always sweet chaos in this house! :)

Growing up so quickly!

He loves his boat .... relaxing with grandma!

Bath time!

Franklin thinks he needs a bath too!!!!

Evan is 18 weeks this week! I am slowly losing track of weeks and counting months. So, he is technically 4 1/2 months! Hard to believe - especially since he went from being a small 6 lbs to a whopping 15 lbs. He has grown sooo much. Almost every time I work, I look back at the posts when we first had him and look through all of his pictures. It is amazing
how much he has changed, yet he still has the same big blue eyes, dimples, serious faces, personality traits, and more.

This summer has been here and nearly gone in a flash! We have made it to the pool a few times, however, it seems that I have to pack the whole entire house just to make that trip. Evan loves to be out and about, so we are out more than in. The last few days have been trying because we have all been sick, therefore staying in the house. He is just a little go-geter and gets bored at home - plus he loves to ride in the car!

He is going to be sitting up before we know it. He is almost there, just a couple more weeks or so. He looks like a little man when he is sitting up! We still have no teeth, but have been teething for nearly a month and a half, at least. He always has his hands (trying to get both in there) or a toy in his mouth. He is still trying very hard to hold his own bottle, but hasn't quite figured it out. In fact, he will get in a little shoving match with me. I try to hold it for him, he just pushes and pushes - the bottle then flies over his head. He is going to be quite the little independent guy when he gets older - I can just see it now! :) He rolled over 2 times in one night last week, but hasn't done it since. I am not sure if it was pure luck, or he is starting to try and figure it out. It is hard to work with him on rolling because he hates to be on his tummy for tummy time - since he sleeps on his tummy. He thinks I am trying to make him go to sleep, instead of letting him play!

After I work this weekend, Jason and I are off for 7 days together! We plan on doing some major cleaning and organizing of the house. We are going to attempt to take Evan on his first zoo trip - but it doesn't look like the weather is going to be too favorable! It will be nice to spend the week together regardless. It seems like Jason and I never really get to spend time together with Evan as a family, so I am looking forward to having this week to focus on us and do whatever we want!
