Seems like I haven't updated in quite some time .... oh wait, I haven't!  I thought I would start back up because it is a way for me to get things off my chest, write about what is important to me, and it is a wonderful way to keep track of all that has happened in our little family.

Our little fella is getting ready to turn 3 and it has hit me like a ton of bricks.  Three ... already?  It just doesn't seem possible.  I love the age that he is at, although I could do without the fits, not listening at times, and testing limits.  He is sleeping in a big boy bed, communicating using all sorts of words, knows his colors, numbers and how to write an "E,"  able to spell his name, and do new things to surprise us often.  He loves to play outside, do crafts, make music, dance, watch his cartoons and movies (currently our favorite is Wall-E).  We have had a string of holidays back to back, so we have decorated the house monthly and even made our own decorations!

Being a mother has been a challenge at times, but worth every step!  It is definitely the most rewarding job I have ever taken on.  Some days I feel like I just need bedtime to come, while there are others that I want time to slow down.  The days I work are often a chore, as we have to head to school and go through the dreaded dropping off routine.  He will be moving up in classes once he turns 3, which I think we will be a good change for all of us!

We continue to use our time together to do fun things as a family, work on the house, relax and enjoy each others company, and take a moment to enjoy the life we live.  We may not have all the material things, but that doesn't matter.  My family is most important and will always be most important.  The simple moments are the ones you will always remember and look back on.

So, it is my attempt to start blogging again!  I loved doing it but have let other things take up my time.  So here is to a few new posts and creating more memories for our family to look back on!
